Ted-Allan Ssekimpi studied English Language and Literature alongside Film Studies and holds a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Cape Town. He also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Leeds Beckett University.

Ted has five years of teaching experience in China and has extensive experience adapting materials to students with different levels of English proficiency. In his current teaching, he applies these skills through clear rubrics, model work, and carefully sequenced scaffolding.

At BAID, Ted currently teaches English. His classes emphasize vocabulary development and paragraph structure, alongside evidence based thinking and writing. He provides students with clear expectations and consistent guidance as they develop greater independence as learners. He is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging classroom with high academic expectations.
