Officially recognized by BPC and NEC, two leading business and economics competitions, the BAID Business & Economics Club has spent the four years since its founding promoting systematic study and practical inquiry in business. With guidance from a specialist faculty adviser and a leadership team whose members have earned competition awards, the club offers a structured program of business learning and competition preparation. Its achievements include fourth place globally in NEC, BPC Global Finalist recognition, and BPC's 2024-25 Most Influential Club award, alongside other honors in China and internationally. We continue to combine academic study with practical experience to help members develop as future business leaders.
What We Do
- AP Economics Support We offer dedicated support for AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics, reviewing key concepts and working through practice questions with explanations to help members achieve high scores.
- Business Case Studies Members analyze real business cases in groups and discuss possible solutions, developing business reasoning and data analysis skills alongside slide presentation and public speaking skills. These activities simulate decisions faced by businesses.
- International Competition Preparation We provide preparation for international competitions including the National Economics Challenge (NEC) and the International Economics Olympiad (IEO), as well as Business Professionals of America (BPA) competitions. Members receive support throughout the process, from forming teams and choosing topics to refining their submissions.
- Original Business Activities The club regularly organizes its own business activities, giving members practical project experience and distinctive extracurricular achievements that strengthen their applications to universities abroad.
