Honors Physics

What Students Learn

Grounded in national curriculum physics, this course incorporates English terminology and scientific materials to develop subject understanding alongside readiness for learning in English. Modeling and experimental discussion help students explain physical relationships in both languages and prepare for subsequent AP Physics study.

Learning Focus

1. Core concepts: motion and interactions alongside conservation

2. Scientific reading in English: terminology and problem contexts

3. Models and mathematics: connect graphs and equations with explanations

4. Experimental communication: describe methods and analyze results in English

Learning Outcomes

Students identify key physical information in English, solve problems through models and mathematical relationships, and explain experimental results clearly. The course supports gradual preparation for reading demands and scientific argument in AP Physics.
