Cards and Performances Express Students' Gratitude

By 7:20 a.m. on September 10, preparations were complete in the lobby on the first floor of Desheng Building. Card stands lined both sides of the entrance, displaying messages students had written in advance. The cards swayed gently in the morning sunlight as teachers arrived.

The cards expressed the students' sincere appreciation. Some carried the message "Thank you for your hard work." Others featured small stars folded from colored paper and tied to the sides of the stands, expressing gratitude for their teachers' guidance. Teachers stopped at the stands to find and collect the cards addressed to them.

As teachers paused to read their cards, students began singing and playing the piano in the lobby. Their performances gave the working day a special sense of occasion. The handwritten messages and music expressed students' respect for their teachers and provided a touching start to Teachers' Day.

Free Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic Supports Teachers' Health

At 1 p.m., the school held a free medical clinic for teachers. A team of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners provided care for common concerns such as neck and shoulder strain, along with discomfort caused by prolonged standing or desk work. Their services included pulse assessment and medical consultations, alongside tuina massage therapy and health advice. The clinic offered practical support for teachers' health and an opportunity to pause during a busy day to care for their bodies.

Teachers demonstrate their commitment to education through the work they do conscientiously each day. During these celebrations, cards conveyed appreciation, movable type printing continued a cultural tradition, the clinic supported teachers' health, and music expressed gratitude for their dedication. These simple gestures reflected the school community's respect for teachers' professional contributions.

We thank the Parent Committee for its thoughtful support and the Student Council and performance group for their performances. We also thank every teacher for their continued dedication. We wish all our teachers success at work and good physical and mental health. May they continue working with students and parents to make campus life fulfilling and rewarding, and pursue their goals with confidence.
