Specialty Courses
Specialty Courses
BAID's specialty courses help students explore their interests and develop their strengths. The curriculum includes five areas: the Academy Series, Arts and Culture Series, Service Series, Fitness Series, and Experiential Series. Through practical projects and research, students deepen their knowledge and develop their own ideas. Each area offers guidance and encouragement as students explore future careers and pursue their ambitions.

Academy Series
Developing Students as Researchers
Academy Series courses focus on academic inquiry and scientific exploration, enabling students to engage with authentic academic challenges and experience the full research process. The courses extend learning in core subjects and prepare students for academic competitions, while introducing developments in science. Students strengthen their scientific reasoning and research skills through an approach based on evidence.

Arts and Culture Series
Developing Empathy through the Arts
Arts and Culture Series courses combine the humanities and creative expression to develop students' cultural knowledge and artistic appreciation, alongside their ability to create. Through studying art and creating their own work, students deepen their emotional understanding and develop their aesthetic judgment and creativity.

Service Series
Developing Responsible Citizens
Service Series courses focus on community engagement and responsibility, encouraging students to understand social issues and apply what they learn. Practical experience develops leadership and a sense of responsibility while strengthening students' ability to solve real problems.

Fitness Series
Developing Fitness and Resilience
Fitness Series courses improve students' physical health and encourage regular exercise habits, developing physical strength and resilience through sport. A range of sports allows students to pursue their interests and develop their athletic strengths.

Experiential Series
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Through Spring Outing and Camping, alongside Chinese Cultural Roots Exploration and BA Global Classroom, students learn beyond campus and in nature. They visit cultural venues and natural landscapes in Beijing's suburbs and other provinces and cities, as well as partner schools around the world, deepening their cultural knowledge and broadening their global outlook through experience.
